Welcome to The Learning Farm

Sharing family, farm life, and the love of learning with the next generation. We are a fourth-generation farm in Vilonia, offering homesteading classes, music lessons, and summer art camps. Visit our current schedule below!

Imagine being given a beautiful golden box. You have a few short years to fill it with treasure, then the lid will shut. What you put in the box while it was open is what you will have to draw on for the rest of your life.

Here at the Learning Farm, we believe that childhood is the prime age for acquiring skills and interests that can enrich the rest of their lives. Skills like music, sewing, food preservation, carpentry, art skills, gardening and many others are worth developing at a young age. Do you know someone who is a true master of their craft? They were probably introduced to it when they were young. Here at the Learning Farm, we help children discover their unique interests and skills and provide them a rich supply of learning opportunities to draw from for years to come!

About Our Classes

The Learning Farm was established in 2018 as a Music, Art, and Language Studio. It has been our privilege to get to know and work with so many great families in central Arkansas! In addition to music and art, we now offer gardening and homesteading classes for homeschoolers as well. These fun and interactive group classes teach important life skills such as growing food, nutrition, sewing, animal care, equipment maintenance and much more.

We are proud to be an EFA approved vendor. Contact Sarah for more information.

  • “My 12 year old son began taking from Sarah a couple of months ago and WOW - we couldn’t be more impressed!! Not only has he made tremendous musical progress, but more importantly he LOVES his lesson time with Sarah! He looks forward to it all week! And practice time at home is never a chore for him because he can’t wait to show Sarah what he’s mastered during the week! I worried about starting a “preteen” in piano simply because he was already older than most kids starting out, but I’m certain that it’s already been such a rewarding experience because of the wonderful teacher that Sarah is! What a blessing she has been for our family!!” ~Shannon (Jacksonville, AR)

“Sarah is a very fun and patient teacher, and our kids have a blast and learn a ton in her classes. It’s fun for me as a parent to watch them learn.” Nicole (Greenbrier, AR)

“My kids love coming to learn at the Learning Farm! Sarah is a great teacher and keeps the kids focused and entertained. She is very patient with the kids.” Ashley (Conway, AR)

“My child loves piano with Sarah. Sarah is patient and kind to the students and parents. My child is learning both piano theory and technique.” ~Elizabeth (Conway, AR)

“Mrs. Singer is a patient, kind teacher. My two children have learned to play (piano) very quickly and look forward to learning more.” ~Karen (Conway, AR)

“I only have positive things to say about Mrs. Singer’s Learning Farm Piano and Art Lessons! Don’t change a thing. We love everything about our classes. My children look forward to their lessons each week. I feel like they have made amazing progress in a short period of time in both piano and art. I attribute this to the gentle, developmentally appropriate guidance of their teacher, Mrs. Singer.” ~Carolyn (Mt. Vernon, AR)

“Complex ideas and skills broken down for easy understanding.” ~Paula (Greenbrier, AR)

“Sarah’s classes are fun and memorable! My kids still talk about the things they do in class months later and the techniques get practiced often long after art class is over. Sarah provides a multi-sensory learning experience and is such a gifted teacher. We highly recommend any classes she teaches!” ~Kristina (Damascus, AR)

“We have absolutely loved all of our classes at the Learning Farm! My 6 year old loves to draw and paint, and the techniques he has learned have given him a broader range of abilities his day to day drawings. And the location provides the perfect atmosphere for learning!” ~Meredith (Conway, AR)
